My dream Exploring of Peace Village
The tired daily routine, such as lectures, organization, pollution in the road make saturation more severe for me. the brain may be the stress made. It should be their tranquility and peace of mind to restore the overcrowded back into relaxed.
There is a village in the land of windmills. located in the Province of Overijseel, Netherlands. Giethoorn village could be an alternative holiday. in order to restore the spirit as usual. Why is that, because the village is the most free of pollution. No reining routine. Like a fairy tale village.
The reason is, there are no engined transport such as cars or motorcycles that operate in this village. In contrast to the big cities. In contrast to the big cities where engined transport is demand to do daily routines that overcrowd.
It is a dream place to spend vacation time. because, in Giethoorn will not find the way because the only access that can be passed are small canals with very clean water. Above the canal there are arched wooden bridges to cross.

I would to paddle a boat along the canal that it is only one meter. I really imagined could see the farm houses of the 18th century with a distinctive thatched roof. I saw on the internet. The houses looked very well maintained and exotic. The yard was filled with green grass and flowers colorful shrubs. Shady trees and no garbage strewn around.
Water in the small canals in the village dates back to the massive flooding that occurred in the 10th century that flooded marshes. In 1230, the village was built and styled by fugitive who escaped from the Mediterranean. The fugitives were initially found a lot of wild goat horns were allegedly killed when floods, hence the name Geytenhorn which means ‘goat horns’ crowned be the name of this village. Years later turned into Giethoorn pronunciation known as it is today.
This village became a well-known and visited by tourists since the Dutch comedian Bert Haanstra visited this village.
According to the official website giethoorntourism.com . This village is very quiet village. sound was the natural sound of the shrill sound of a duck or bird sound. and there throughout the 90 kilometer canal that could be explored in this village.
The romantic atmosphere is felt when in the evening. perfect when I’ve got a wife enjoyed a dinner together hahaha .. but for now, I hope to visit this village to unwind in the lecture.
To get there. We can book a flight ticket from Qatar Airways. Ticket prices enough cheap to travel Europe about 4 million Rupiah. Already includes ticket to go and return to Indonesia. After that we could take of a Schengen visa for entry into Europe. Embassy visa can be done in the country where the first stop ( Netherlands). Access maintains in the Dutch embassy is easier than other Embassy.
First, we make an appointment for a visa online.
Both fill Schengen Visa Application form.
Third, set up the terms of the Schengen Visa Application. (Trip ticket, proof of financial, Insurance).
Fourth submit the file documents to the Embassy of the Netherlands.
Fifth, pay the visa fee.
Lastly, Waiting process of visa. Once the visa has been processed, we could take it to the embassy
The village is located about 114 kilometers from Amsterdam, or about 1.5 hours. yet again, traveling from Soekarno-Hatta (Indonesia) to Netherlands. definitely need the cost is not cheap. Hopefully I can save my money, or at least could be destined to go there.
